duo covers over sandys and meos?

Hello all. I'm a first time caller, long time listener ha. I've been stalking this forum and the website since my pregnancy. My little man is now almost 3 weeks old and quickly outgrowing his newborn prefolds and AIOs. I'm plotting my mother-ease order. Ideally, I want to get a few small sandys, meos, duo covers, and one size duo inserts. My big question is do the duo covers fit over sandys and MEOS or would I need to get duo and MEAF covers? Thanks so much!

I tried the medium duo covers over my Sandys, and the Sandys were too large. You probably need both duo and airflow (or rikki) covers.

tjhbahr is correct. The diaper systems don't work together or interchangably. The Duo has a much slimmer cut to better accomodate today's fashion trends. For economical reasons you probably need to decide whether you want to use the older fitted style diapering system or the Wizard Duo system. Both systems perform outstandingly. The only diaper in the Wizard line that will compliment any diapering system you choose is the Uno and that is simply becasue it is an all in one. It only ever gets used on its own. You can keep some on hand for babysitters or grandparents or in the diaper bag for quick changes and it doesn't matter what other system you've got as your main diapering line. Make sense?

Thanks ladies. Yes, Erika, it makes sense. I'm thinking at this point that I'd like my stash to be a healthy mix of MEOS, Sandy's, prefolds, and either flip or best bottom hybrids. Again, thanks so much!
