Dyed diaper by accident - help! Monday, August 13, 2012 1:40 PM (permalink)
My son's water bottle leaked in my diaper bag and the dye from my sling dyed a cloth diaper blue!  Is there any way to reverse this???  :(

Bleach might work.

I'd embrace it!  If you can't embrace it but don't want to do anything terribly harsh, I'd think about lemon juice and/or  sunning?
Back in the day I turned parts of one diaper (unbleached cotton) pink by washing it with some reds (it stayed on the top of the drum, I think).  I didn't do anything special to undo that, but did avoid putting the diaper in the dryer, and eventually I couldn't even tell which diaper had been pinked.

I soaked it in oxiclean a couple times and it's much better so we'll see how some more washes do.
