I know this is an old thread, but I thought I'd share what I use for a diaper bag. I bought a great back pack diaper bag from ebags.com. What I love about it is that it has a purse that easily detatches from the front of it, which is wonderful if I need to go out without the babies. I don't have to dig around for my wallet in the diaper bag and transfer everything into my purse.....and I don't have to carry both a purse and a diaper bag. Too much work. This back pack is very roomy and had many pockets. It's black, which my dh loves because he can carry it and not have little pink or blue bears all over him. LOL!
I have 2 in diapers and always have plenty of room for diapers and extra covers for both of them. As a matter of fact, there is even enough room for an extra change of clothes for them! I always keep disposable wipes in there for hands and faces, but use cloth diaper wipes for diapering. I just wet about 4 of them and put them into a plastic zipper bag. Sometimes I forget and am very thankful for the disposable wipes which are always in there.
For the used diapers, I use those Sassy Sacks you can get at walmart. They are little plastic deodorized diaper sacks made especially for stinky diapers. I put them in there and then that bag into a plastic grocery bag. The Sassy Sacks are small enough for one diaper and you can cram about 10 of them into the smallest places! I love them. I have never had a problem with odors. You just have to be sure to remove them when you get home! :o) Hope this helps!
