I know I have read here that several people do this- we have been doing it also and really liking it. My question is- is it bad for the washer to sit with water in it all the time? I have not had a problem with odors in the diapers or in the laundry room due to the messy diapers (baby is only 3 wks old and bf), but when I first walk in there it smells a little musty, like the water sitting in the washer is making it get musty or something. Also does it make your washer get rusty inside? It doesn't seem like they are made to hold standing water for long periods. I am washing every day or every other day so they don't sit really long. i just dont want to ruin my washer. thanks for any input-
