I use both. If you have a tight budget I would go with the Rikki's because the size doesn't change as often. My son is a big guy so I don't have the skinny peanut problem. But I haven't had a problem with it (although I am getting nervous now that he's getting older and more velcro saavy)
They are the BEST at night because I pack his diaper with a million liners and stay dry liners and it just fits really well.
I have never had a problem with the velcro because I just do it up and wash the covers in a lingerie bag. ($2 at Wal-mart)
I love the Air Flow during the day and maybe with the Texas heat you might be better off BUT we have had a record hot summer here (Vancouver, BC) and he has yet to have a rash - EVER and he's been in cloth for all 7 months of his life.
Like I've said before, I SWEAR you could you paper towels and these covers and it would STILL hold everything in :-)
