I was wondering how the small Sandy's usually fit newborns. Will they usually work fine with an 8 pound baby? My first son was 7 pounds at birth, but he weighed in at almost 9 pounds at one month. Second son was 8.5 pounds at birth, and 9.5 pounds at one month.
The thing is, I really don't want to have to resort to disposables at first. My second son is 2 years old and we're switching him to cloth right now (the baby is due in Jan), so I'll be washing diapers anyway.
I've been considering buying mainly small Sandy's, and then buying about 6 XSm Sandy's for when we're out and about so that they won't be so bulky. However, I'd rather just buy small Sandy's (so I can buy more of them) if they should work pretty well on about an 8 pound baby.
