Hi Laura,
It's a special spray attachment that attaches to the back of your toilet. You use it to spray the diaper clean right over your toilet. Your diaper gets cleaner than it ever would with dunking and you never have to touch the dirty part of the diaper or the yucky toilet water. It's apparently very similar to those kitchen sink sprayers...
You can buy them at www.weebees.com or www.bareware.com (probably other places as well, but those are the two I know). They go under different brand names, one I know is called the Little Squirt (I think, not really sure....). I've also heard that it's pretty easy to set up your own by buying parts from the hardware store. If you scroll down the board far enough there are instructions somewhere on how to do that.
I don't have one personally but have heard nothing but good comments from those who do. I would buy one in a heartbeat if it weren't for the 4 rolls of disposable liners sitting in my son's closet and the fact that he's over 2.5 years old and will hopefully train soon! But if I had to do it over again, or had another child, I would definetly buy it. It's a bit of an investment at around $40-$50 but if you consider the advantages and the long term cost of liners, it's worth it I think.
Karen.
