If your baby tends to be small, I'd go for the Sandy's. We have 25 Sandy's and one one-size. The one-size was huge when we first got it at 8 weeks. She is now 6 months and a little over 15 pounds. I use the one-size sometimes when the others are in the wash. The leg openings are still very loose even on the smallest setting. I love the Sandy's because the leg openings are fitted to the baby's legs. As a result, I never have any leaks!
I'm certain that the one-size diapers work great for some. However, in my experience the Sandy's seem to fit smaller babies better.
