You do have to be very careful when spraying out the diaper at least with our sprayer. We have fairly strong water pressure, so it can cause a mess when spraying out the diaper if we're not careful. It is difficult to adjust the pressure because with the type sprayers that are used they are either on or off.
BTW, My DH installed sprayers for me in each of our bathrooms. He used a kitchen sprayer and plumbed them in himself. We ended up spending $15 for two sprayers. If you or someone you know are handy you can do it with very little investment.

: Thanks to KarenC for replying to my message below asking what a sparyer is - I have now had a look at the suggested site. Can anyone who has one tell me how good it is? It sounds good, but I also picture in my head having the water spray onto the diapers, then repel off, wetting everywhere surrounding the toilet including me, the floor, the toilet lid - of course this would be nice dirty water haing already hit the dirty diaper. I don't mind the price, if I know it is going to work...
