I guess it would have been important to mention that I RARELY use a doubler but I ALWAYS use a fleece liner and a disposble liner in each diaper daytime and night. It doesn't really bother me how wet the diaper gets because what's important is the baby's bum and that's dry because of the liners. I guess that's why I rarely use a doubler. Hope that helps.
