My favorite cream for diaper rash is WELEDA Calendula Nappy Change Cream. This cream is truly amazing: the calendula and other ingredients are very soothing. It was recommended to me by a German friend who is a pharmacist (I believe it is made in Germany) before my child was born: and in almost three years of diapering, it has not let me down! It is not cheap, but a little goes a long way, and I only use it when there is a rash. I've tried other creams when I've run out of this one, but have not found anything as effective. Plus, it is very gentle with all natural ingredients. It has a pleasant herbal scent and has NOT stained my diapers. Avaiable in Health Food (or similar) stores in the US (and probably in Cananda as well) or online.
