From my experience the small airflow covers were huge compared to the xsmall sandy. I originally bought the AF cover to go with my xsmall sandies, but ME let me return them because they would not have worked in my opinion. I used the rikki during that point and then switched to the AF which I do like better because of the snaps, but I think the rikki has a trimmer fit to them.
Hope that helps

: Okay, I'm a little confused. I was thinking I might buy some extra small Sandies for when baby is a newborn, but which cover do I use? The note by the extra small Sandies says to use with extra small Rikkies, but extra small Rikkies says to only use with prefolds or pinless diapers. I would consider Sandies a pinless diaper, so are they okay to use? Why can't I use the small AF covers as they are sized for the same pounds as the extra small Sandies? Also, I read where some poster said she bought too many of these. Would 24 be too many? From what I understand (this is my first baby), babies go through a BUNCH of diapers in the first few months. Even though buying three sets of diapers will cost a lot in the beginning, we plan to have 4 kids (the Lord willing) and will get lots of use out of every set. Thanks in advance for any replies.
