I would imagine that that would work fine - think about when you leave something in a window sill for too long and it discolors - or curtains that have been naturally bleached. Try it out and see if it works. Are they the dipes you bought from me? To make you feel better they have actually been stained before, but the sun always takes the stains out. It is really amazing how that works - plus they just smell so much better that way too.
