When my son was exclusively breastfed everything just got dropped in the pail without rinsing of any kind (breastmilk poopies are water soluble LOL).
Once he was eating a fair bit of solids I had to start rinsing off his diapers. I bought a minishower (you can get them at www.bareware.net and many other places) and attached it to the toilet to spray off poopie diapers. I love this thing. I think it is my favorite diapering "accessory"! I am just not a dunk and swish kind of girl (ick!)
So I just spray the poop off and ring the diaper out...then drop it into the pail. I know lots of people don't ring the diaper out but it makes the bag too heavy if I don't (I only do laundry every 3 days or so).
