I agree with Steph.... Exclusively breastfed baby poop doesn't need to have anything done to it (just a pre-rinse in the washer before you start your wash). The mini-shower is a fantastic idea and one I wish I'd heard of before it was too late (my son is hopefully on the verge of potty training).
You also asked about wet diapers, no need to do anything to them at all either, just drop them in the pail.
