OK, I guess I'm the odd one out here, but I think that the bleached dipes are much softer than the unbleached. I've had both and sold off the unbleached ones to buy more of the white because I think they're that much softer. I don't worry about stains, but have not had any problems with it, either--it all washes out eventually in my experience.

Can't answer this one, my ds is 20 months and only 21 pounds, so we switched to the sandys (he's still wearing the smalls on the medium snap settings--he's a skinny boy)

Haven't had much problem with this once I got our wash system down pat. A dry pail, washing every other day in hot water with Purex Tabs. I have found them not to need extra rinses with this detergent. I used to use liquid, but it needed at least one extra rinse and usually I added Downy advanced, but no more! The diapers are fresh and clean--no smells.
