We bought a front loader to save water and electricity-it is an energy star. The dipes came out with a slight smell- almost metallic. The washing machine senses how much water is needed so there wasn't as much as with my old top loading washer which was broken- it always washed with the max amount of water, even if there was only one sock in there!! SO, I'm wondering if there is a new procedure for front loaders, since we are going to be washing with less water now...Any ideas?
