Can anyone recommend reasonably priced and reliable waterproof diaper covers? How many should I get? I picked up a package of nylon tafetta pull on diaper covers from Babies R Us today. They have spandex elastic which looks nice and soft. I think they were $3.99 for a package of 2. To start out, I am going to make my own fitted diapers (either Poo Pockets or a freebie pattern off the internet - haven't decided: maybe some of each) and some doublers and fleece liners for nighties. As our baby gets bigger I will probably need to adjust my system, but I thought this would be the most economical way to start out. Any comments either positive or negative are appreciated.
