Definitely get it checked out to make sure that it isn't a yeast infection.
I had problems with sores, but only when she was teething. When the tooth pushed though, it would be gone. I absolutely hated it when she was teething for this reason. It made diaper changes a nightmare as she would be saying "owie" the whole time. Thankfully it was only for a few teeth. She seemed to get different symptoms with different teeth (don't know if that is normal or not).
-11 here....roads are finally opened and I'm staying home while dd is at the sitter's! Time to get some organization done!
: Hello ladies,
: Happy New Year to all.
: I have been cding my son for all 10 months of his life and I have now come up with a problem. He had diarrhea (sp?) one day and I was changing his diaper every hour. I guess that wasn't enough because he now has this raw wound on his bum :-(
: I have tried everything and every cream that I have (polysporin, bacatracin, olive oil based diaper cream, "special" diaper cream from paris, etc.). I keep changing him so that it doesn't stay damp but it's been almost a week and it doesn't seem to be getting any better.
: Thanks for your help,
: Trapped in my house because of a snow storm in VANCOUVER
