Well, I don't boil my dipes - it just seems like an accident waiting to happen. :)
What I do is hot wash on high water level with a bit of soap (just to make sure they're clean) then warm rinse, then another full hot wash, no soap and another warm rinse. If there are still bubbles in the rinse water, rinse again. Repeat rinse ad nauseum until there are not more bubbles in the water. (Just did this today, so it's fresh in my mind!)
I use warm rinse since I think it dissolves the soap better (and I have flat-rate hot water!), but I know some people use cold rinses instead.
