I thought that stripping them was to remove detergent build-up??? This is what I think our problem is- the dipes are getting thinner and the square central part is more obvious to the feel- they are less plush- So I boiled them and I could see bubbles coming out... I don't know. I can't set the water to the highest level because we have an efficiency washer- it senses how much you have in the washer and only gives you that much water. I do an extra rinse, but maybe I should run the whole thing again w/o detergent??
