I am too lazy to dunk or get a sprayer. I use Kushies flushable liners most of the time (I know when my son will poop, so I don't have to use them in every diaper). Lately I have also been using fleece liners. The poop doesn't come off completely, but my diapers don't get all gunky this way. If there's a lot that doesn't fall off the diaper, sometimes I use some TP to wipe a bit more off. My husband doesn:t bother though, so a little ends up in the washer. Besides having to pick a few things out of the lint trap (pea and corn shells, flax seeds, etc.) this seems to work fine.
I can't stand poopy water dripping all over the place from rinsing. EW! But lots of people swear by the sprayer.
Good luck! The beginning poopies are the worst - after they've been eating solids for a while the poo forms firm balls that just plop nicely into the toilet. Great topic, yum, yum.
