Hi!
We had our first in August and also wanted to use cloth diapers. We got the one-size, adjustable Mother-Ease diapers with the covers and have been VERY pleased! Instead of a diaper pail, I use a canoeing "dry-bag". It is designed to keep the items inside the bag dry during a canoe trip, but the principle works in reverse too. The top of the bag folds in on its self to form a water proof seal and a nice handle. I put a little detergent in the bag and about 5 gallons of water and just throw the diapers in (after rinsing bm diapers). There is no smell,no stains, and no spills! When I go to wash the diapers, I simply hold the mouth of the bag and drain the water into the toilet and then dump the reletively wrung out diapers into the washer. These bags come in many sizes and colors and are pretty inexpensive.
I have found this system to be great! Good luck!
