Actually, I've been really wanting to purchase Luna Pads (http://www.lunapads.com/) because they're sooo pretty, but oh so expensive for us right now. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense to use cloth to help protect our environment, and then hipocritically use tampons and pads. I have used a menstrual cap (Keeper) for years, and have only just started researching cloth menstrual pads.
Just the other day, I found a website with a pretty good pattern to make your own cloth pads. I recently purchased a sewing machine, and haven't sewn anything in my life, but found the pattern quite easy. I revamped it to suit the size that I like, made a few demos, and now I just have to purchase more flannel to make more.
