I wonder if anyine could give me some advice.
I just bought some Sandys on ebay. Several of them were described as "Like New", others as "great condition" and one as "thinning". Two were said to have stains, but that didn't bother me.
Just got them in the mail, and I cant imagine anyone would consider any of these "Like New". (I have purchased other "Like New" items and they were barely/mildly worn or washed.) I'm not even sure any of them are in "Great Condition": perhaps "Good".
However, I have only seen brand new Sandys at the store, so maybe I am being fooled by the fact that they are not soft and fluffly?
They have the consistencey of old washcloths and the inner part with multiple layers seems hard/stiff. A few have tags which are completely curled up / torn up and unreadable, the rest dont have tags at all. All except the single unbleached item look stained (which wouldn't bother me if I had paid less for a "used/good" diapers, not "like new / great").
I'm a bit miffed on being ripped off, but also about whether these will be usable and absorb. Certainly they aren't soft, but kinda scratchy.
Also, maybe I am overreacting and this is what Sandys all look like after some use?
