Don't put anything on top of a stay-dry liner because if you do you're basically nulling the stay-dry effect. In order to work the stay-dry part has to be right next to baby's skin. If there's something in between, it will get wet and that wetness will stay next to baby's skin. A disposable liner isn't too bad because it doesn't absorb a whole lot, but it will still get wet and will interfere with the stay-dry liner.

You don't actually 'need' to use any kind of liner except at night for extra absorbancy. Disposable (flushable) liners are nice because they can help save dunking of poopy diapers but it really depends on how you feel about that....
