What works for us is a zinc cream with a layer of vaseline over top. Seems to keep DD rash free and we had tried pretty much everything else.

Cloth contained the poop better than disposables, but my baby got a bad diaper rash with cloth because her skin would come in contact with the wet diaper. It got better after going back to super absorbent disposables. I must admit that I wasn't changing her as often as I should at first with the cloth. But I started changing her every couple of hours every day with no sign of improvement. The doctor recommended that I stay with disposables. I'd like to continue with cloth but I don't want to be changing her every couple of hours. She's almost 8 months now. She also has eczema which means her skin is very sensitive. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
