I used to use borax pretty regurarlly and had no problems, the ME's are just as nice and soft as when I got them, and i had no problems w/ our hemp either, but now that I have heard that it has "eaten holes" in others hemp, I wont be using it w/ my hemp any more, dont want to take a chance! I use baking soda as well.
