I am a member of Melaleuca just like your Mom. I LOVE their stuff, and agree with you. Prespot is one of the best at getting rid of breastfed poop stains. I also add a few drops of Melaleuca Oil (tea tree) to my wash cycle to help disenfect my diapers. They also have a product called Sol-U-Mel that I use when Prespot alone just won't do the trick.
As for buying the products, you purchase them from the company directly, and can inquire on the website if you are interested in becoming a member, but it is not Direct Sales, nor is it MLM. You do not buy product from the Marketing Execitive as they call them, you buy it from the company. It is like joining a wholesale club, except your membership counter is in the form of a Marketing Executive. It's really a wonderful system, quite inexpensive to join and a great way to buy well priced healthy products for your family.
Sorry didn't mean to preach. I love being a member, and would hate for people to get the wrong idea about it.
: My mom first gave me a product a year ago that is great for stains and is made with all-natural cleaning enzymes and detergents (no bleach). It is called "Prespot" and is available through a company called Melaleuca, based in Idaho Falls, ID. USA. She wanted me to use their products because she didn't want her precious grandbabies around ANY household chemicals/detergents. Well now that we have a new baby in the house, guess what? Is works great for breasfeed "poop" stains!! I have used it on the ME diapers which I have just started to use as the product states that it is "safe for all washable fabrics." I don't know how much it cost, my mom gives me a box of their products every month. I think this is a DS company, which means you have to find a an independent consultant. The bottle here says their website is melaleuca.com, and their phone number is 1-800-282-3000. Their entire "deal" is Wellness/Chem Free. Just thought I would share.
