: I had this problem when I first started using Sandies overnight. I wasn't rinsing them out nearly well enough. Now that I know that I haven't had any problems since.
: I assume you have a front loader (HE detergent) so I don't know if you can set it for extra rinses. If not, just run it through a whole cycle with no detergent - probably a good idea anyway to get rid of the buildup.

Thanks for the suggestion, and yes, it's a front-loader machine which i hate, but that's another story...i already routinely do 2 full cycles with nothing added after the wash to make sure they are fully clean and all my other ME diapers are fine: just the nite-time ones get build-up, likely b/c the urine concentration is so high.
Well, i think i've found my answer...incase anyone else had similar problems. These diapers have worked sooo well, that i just had to find something. So after some research on some other diapering boards, i decided to try Calgon added to my hot wash cycle...worked like a charm! Did a few strip washes, then added the Calgon and the Tide, washed as usual, hung them outside for awhile, and they look great and smellin like daisies!! Yippee!
