My daughter has been in small Sandy's since she was born, she's 4 months old, and I absolutely love them. I did loads of online research before deciding on Mother-Ease, and this bulletin board is great for finding answers!

We've only ever used Sandy's diapers, so I can't say anything about other diapers, but they are a really absorbant diaper. My daughter is a heavy wetter, and can't stand to be wet. During the day, we put her in a diaper and a thin fleece liner that I made. The fleece helps to prevent the pee from sitting right against her skin. We still change her frequently. At night she wears one of the thicker liners that came with the package. We've only just started putting another liner in the diaper as well, to see if that will make a difference with her getting up once a night. (I'm trying ANYTHING to get her to sleep straight through the night!) These liners really do absorb sooo much!

We have never had a single leak with the airflow covers, and they don't leave red marks against her skin. We do leave gaps at the legs, and have since the beginning. Her little legs are chubby at the thigh, and I don't want her cover too tight. As far as I know, as long as there isn't any cloth peeking out of the cover, there shouldn't be any leaks. A friend of mine who doesn't use Mother-Ease dipes recently placed an order for airflow covers because she was so impressed with mine!

Good luck with your search!

Shannon
