I would definately say that the dreft is the problem!! You need to wash with a detergent with more cleaning power and no softeners to really strip the natural oils off of your new diapers. They won't be fully absorbant until all the oils are removed. I would reccomend tide detergent or arm and hammer with baking soda. Don't give up yet ...you will love your diapers in no time!! I have seen other Mama's post about new ME diapers taking a long time to break in.
