My DD was in the small sandys and OS as soon as the meconium was all gone (it is messy , sticky stuff and stains!) so she went through the "free diapers" we got from the hospital and went straight into the dipes. fit great.... she was 8lbs 12oz, she started wearing lg sandys at 6-7months (around 20lbs) the sizing they gave seems to work for my kiddo.
