Hi Jenny,
I have used the ME bedwetting pant and I do like it. I have found it to be quite absorbant and worked well for my 5 year old.
Unless your son is quite large though I would actually recomend going with the Toddle-Ease diapers and L or XL Airflow. They fit my 3 year with lots of room to grow and even my 5 year old can fit in them easily. If you're in doubt about sizing you can always contact ME for specific measurments before actually buying some. Or buy one in the Intro package to give it a shot.
Used with one or two liners I've found them to work quite well. Naturally they do nothing to get him to stop peeing at night but they work great, absolutly no leaks!
You could try putting regular underwear on him (with something waterproof to protect your mattress underneath him of course) and just limit his water intake before bed and wake him to go pee just before you go to bed. It works for some people and we've just started doing that with my 5 year old daughter. Going well so far and in a little over 2 weeks she's only had 4 accidents so that's not bad.
I don't know that that is really necessary at his age though. I'm not even thinking about getting my 3 year old dry at night right now. But then again mine is only just beginning to be reliably dry during the day. I also tend to be quite laid back about these things as well. It's quite normal for a 3 year to still need a diaper at night though....
Karen.
