Testimonials from 1996

Dear Mr. Froese

As you know, I have been testing and selling your diaper products for a while now and as a mother of six cloth-diapered boys I have found your products to be exceptional both in design and quality. There are a couple of things I would change, though, and I thought I’d throw my ideas on the table for what ever they’re worth.

The One Size diaper with it’s snap-in liner is a great idea, but I like the Sandy’s diaper so much better because it comes in more sizes and is soft as a cloud. My experience is that nothing can be one-size-fits-all. The Sandy’s diaper is better fitting, even though using it requires purchasing a couple of different sizes. My idea is to put snaps on the Sandy’s diaper so the snap-in liners can be used on the Sandy’s as well, making it that much easier you use.

I can remember one time many years ago, taking my baby to the church nursery and showing the girl there how to put the diaper, the doubler, the diaper liner, and then the cover on. She looked at me with horror! When everything is there and all connected, it’s a real snap to put on, and even a teenager can understand that!

The other thing I would change would be the flannel all-in-one. The terry fabric you use for the One Size and Sandy’s diaper would be great inside the all-in-one as well. My personal opinion is that flannel wears out really quickly, and the short fibers fall off the fabric sooner than any other fabric. With an all-in-one, you want to have the inside las just as long as the outside. I’m not sure why, but just about every all-in-one diaper has flannel in the inside. Bumkins wear our FAST! When I used Bumkins, I had to add a diaper inside after about 9 months, then the Velcro wore out and I had to put another cover just to keep the Velcro from rubbing on the clothes and falling off. Not to mention the always soggy Velcro in the front.

By the way, that little flap of fabric on the inside of the Rikki Wrap is absolutely the BEST idea!!!!! The Aplix stays dry, so dry I couldn’t even believe it!

Thank you for providing such excellent products!

Sincerely,

Dear Mother-ease,

You were right! We don’t need all these diaper covers. We’re returning these four, keeping five medium sized ones.

Every other type of diapers we’ve used has required a couple of covers each day, but your diapers don’t leak! At all, ever. I cannot tell you how pleased I am with the quality of your diapers.

In the past, we’ve used hour glass shaped diapers with Rikki covers, Bumpkins & diaper service diapers with diaper-wrap covers. They all leaked. But with yours, even the messy newborn diaper stays “contained”.

Thanks so much. I’ll be recommending you to all my friends - you’re definitely worth the price. I really do wish I’d known about you with my first two children.

Sincerely,

Mother-ease,

I am absolutely thrilled with the quality and performance of your Air-rika cover. You can add me to your list of customers who say “I wish I had known about these sooner”. I could have saved myself even more money.

I am looking forward to trying the One Size diaper on my daughter.

Thanks for providing such excellent cloth diaper products.

Sincerely,

R. Hayes

I LOVE the Rikki Wrap. It NEVER leaks through when the diaper gets wet.
