Testimonials from 2010

I wanted to let you know that I have been a satisfied customer of Mother-ease for years!

I originally purchased a set of 25 one size fits all cloth diapers after seeing your ad in Mothering Magazine when I was pregnant with my first son 3 1/2 yrs ago. I now also have a 1 1/2 yr old boy and both are still wearing the original set I purchased from you (yes, unfortunately my 3 1/2 yr old is still in diapers!). They still look new and are super absorbent. I have been so happy with them and passed on your info to a friend of mine who is pregnant and wanted to go cloth. She just purchased a full set of one size fits all from you.

My 1 1/2 yr old who likes to use the diapers as a pillow after they just come out of the dryer as I'm folding them.
I thought you might like to see a photo.

Thanks for a great product and a great cloth experience. I'm so happy I was able to have a successful experience using cloth for both of my children.

Warmly,

Hi,

I just wanted to let you know how happy I am with the mother-ease diapering system: All of my children have been cloth-diapered, but it wasn't until my most recent pregnancy that I looked into getting some mother-ease dipes, as many of our "medium" sized dipes had stretched-out elastics and worn-out velcro closures, as they were used on my older daughters. I wanted to try diapers and covers with snap closures b/c I think they last longer than "hook and loop" closure diapers.
For the newborn period, I have one xs sandys diaper in my stash which I loved using (I only wish I had more!). It fit great around my baby's skinny legs and never left red marks as some diapers can do. We have now moved on to our new stash of 10 sandys smalls and 5 medium airflow covers which my mom and mother-in-law purchased for us, and 3 meos which I purchased gently used. Thanks to the generous cut of the airflow cover, I am able to get away with using the mediums even though my newest daughter is just about 10 lbs. at 2 months. I love that your diapers stay very soft wash after wash, and the elastics are holding up very well. The absorbency level is great too. What is also important to me is that they are completely dry after one cycle in the dryer- I like to tumble dry on low to preserve the life of the elastics. (the organic sandys does take a little longer to dry, but I just lay it on top of dryer or changing table to completely dry)
Thank you so very much for a great product. I will never buy another brand of cloth diaper besides mother-ease, and I have tried almost every brand of fitteds & covers there are, from the popular "Competitor" and "Competitor" to the pricey "Competitor". Your diapers work best for us, hands down!

Hello.  I first tried Mother-ease cloth diapers when my daughter was born back in 2003.  I got the complete package with the One Size unbleached diapers.  I was a bit leery about using cloth at first, it was very intimidating especially that I had never even changed a diaper before!  But it turned out that even my husband was raving about how easy the one size was!  Every time I washed them, no matter the "stuff" they had been through, they came out clean and smelling fresh.  My daughter never had a diaper-related diaper rash the whole time we used them.  At about fourteen months (since she was a gigantor!), I switched her over to the Toddle-ease, another great diaper product.  Now we have a little boy and, six years later, I hauled out the same cloth diapers I had used with my daughter.  I am still amazed at how tough they are and, aside from some loss of absorption because I had dryed them in the dryer for the first six months I had them, they still work great and show no signs of wear-and-tear.  I have supplemented them with some new stay-dry on cotton liners.  I have to say, that is a great product too, I love them, they augment the diaper's absorbancy and make it easy to clean up after messes.

I also decided to try the Sandy's diapers since I noticed they had won an award.  Wow - if we have another baby, I will definitely invest in a complete Sandy's package. They are incredibly soft and absorbant, My son smiles when I put one on, I think he really likes them too! What more could I ask?  I'm just glad you offer such a superior product at such a reasonable price.  Keep up the good work!

Hi Mother-ease,

My girlfriend emailed asking me about our cloth diapers we have used on our three children ages 1 1/2, 3 1/2, 6.  The email below is my reply.

Hi,

Yes, we use Mother-ease.  Ordered the One Size with Air Flow Covers (Convience package) this same time 6 years ago days before *DD#1* arrived..   :)   ...and the same set is currently being used; in fact one diaper with a liner and air flow cover is out on River right now on a snow machine with *DH* and another is upstairs with *DD#2* in her crib as she is napping (*DD#2* is still little enough that the liners don't get used for her yet).  My point is that they have worked out excellent for us and one of the best choices we made when we entered the world of kids.  The diapers have saved us tons of $$ and our family has significantly cut our diaper pollution contribution from what most average families offer. Makes us proud.

We chose the One Size because it is overall less $$ because the diaper grows with the kid, (with many other cloth diapers - even Mother-ease styles, there are different diapers with each size kid) but with One Size we only change the cover by size and only need one or two of those a day so really easy to keep organized.  This one-size style is actually really nice right now with two kiddos of different ages using the same diapers because we can just pack "diapers" when we travel and do not have to worry about how many for which one etc....it is just easy which is super important with kids.

Not sure what to say about how many to order; get the quantity you think is best for you and your little angel.

Dan and I choose the Convience package (largest quantity for the one-size and we even ordered extra air flow covers at the time) because we knew we wanted to be committed to cloth and that if we did not order enough it would allow us the excuse to use disposables and we were concerned we would sway away from our committment....so we jumped in fully loaded with cloth diapers, two great diaper pails (from home depot) with sealable lids (one 1/2 size pail for traveling), a good set of yellow kitchen gloves, a brand new toilet brush and some good nature safe toilet bowl cleaner and a nice good size drying rack.

the only problem we have ever had with diapers is that *DD#1* was totally allergic to every type of disposable diaper - the chemicals caused her a chemical burn every time she peed in one.  We have not had any of those problems with cloth; the only thing we had to sort out with cloth is it took us awhile to realize that Tide detergent,

free and clear, is the best detergent for our kids and that it only takes 1/4 of the normal amount of soap to completely clean the diapers. The other thing was that we never have dried our diapers in the drier; they always go on the drying rack (butt side facing the sun) and the sun bleaches the poop stains totally out, the lack of using the dryer keeps the dryer from pulling all of the fabric out of the cloth diapers so they still are in great shape and ALSO we never have used any type of bleach or fabric softner.  We do “Strip” the diapers about every 6 months in hot water with some vinegar or baking sods (sometimes both) and the reason why and how to is all on the care tab of the Mother-ease site.

Ok, lots and lots on these diapers; sorry; I just love them and both *DH* and I are so happy to know that you and *your husband* are going to use these and we know you will love them as well!!

J.

Love your diapers and they are still working strong.... hoping to talk my husband into one more kiddo which would be #4 to use our one set of diapers.  I am sure the diapers can handle this extra kid but my stay at home husband is not sure that he can so we will have to wait until everyone grows a bit a re-evaluate.  :)
