Has anyone made any pocket diapers? I have some PUL that I bought to (have my mom) make a wet bag. She took so long that eventually I got tired fo waiting and I just bought two bags. So, I want to use the PUL to make something. Has anyone made any pocket diapers? Do you know of a good pattern? I can do snaps, but only metal ones so I think I'll have to do velcro. Where do you get good velcro for diapers? I was thinking of using fleece for the inside. Any suggestions on buying fleece--color, thickness, etc? Thanks!

I've never made pockets, but there are a few other things that I'd love to find made from PUL.  #1 on the list, a changing pad backed in PUL. #2 A picnic blanket backed in PUL (never worry about wet spots in the lawn again).  Just a thought.

Changing pad: I made a couple changing pads backed with the rubber flannel stuff (rubber in the middle, flannel on the two sides). It really didn't need it, but I put a cute piece of flannel on the front. The stuff always used to come in cool prints, but the only place I have found it, and only in white, is Jo-Ann's. The stuff is completely waterproof! I have also used it as crib protectors (none of that plastic stuff they sell in stores!) and have a huge piece on the upper half of my bed. The piece on my bed has been great for when my boys have reflux or throw up. In their cribs it was especially nice when they would spit up all the time because it was more absorbant than the sheet and kept the mattress from getting smelly. Love the stuff!
