Have any of you used the ME training pants? When do most people start using them and how many to start with. My daughter is 21 months old and we have started the potty training. She is 95% poopy trained and tends to only poop her diaper when she is napping but every other time she uses the toilet. I have been trying the naked training for the pee thing and she is about 50% of the time. Are the training pants the way to go or do I keep up with naked time? I am expecting my second in about a week and will be spending more time at home so I plan on working on the potty training so I would appreciate any help you can give me since this is my first time with potty training!!

I'm doing the potty thing with my twins right now and doing the naked thing too. Far as I'm concerned it's the best way to go. Messy to be sure, but mine would just pee in diapers or training pants if I used them at home...

I do have ME training pants and they're the best I've tried. I will use them for when we're going out (they're not quite ready yet I think) and they might still have small accidents. They're nice for when we're at friend's houses or at a store, times when I really don't want to risk a puddle on the floor or needing a change of clothes.

Thanks Karen. We successfully had three pees in the potty this morning so I hope that is a sign of things to come. My daughter is not bothered by a wet cloth diaper so that is the other reason I wasn't sure if the training pants would actually work or not. Poop is the opposite which is a great thing! I am hoping that with having the new baby she can have more naked time at home and at least be dry while she is awake. Time will tell!

Yeah, if your daughter just uses them as diapers, then no they wouldn't really 'work'. My daughters are like that and if I used training pants at home it would take forever before they actually 'got it'. But they're still nice to have for outings and stuff when they're almost there but not 100% reliable just yet...
