question Fitting a Toddler with ME (livingfrugally)

I received my single order of a One Size ME stay-dry diaper in the mail today. I tried it on my 24 month old and found that he couldn't stand the bulk of the diaper through the middle. Do the toddler ME diapers fit more slimly between the legs? I had hoped to find a diaper that would work for both my 24 month old and my 6 month old.

It might be that it's just so different from what he's used to that it just is an adjustment thing: like wearing socks and shoes again after summer(hate that!)
He may adjust. He may not. 24 months is a long time to get used to something, and then change. He's pretty close to PT age. Are you willing to just use posies on him until you try undies? All cloth will be more bulky than any posie, no matter the brand. And MEOS tend to be trimmer than the Sandy's or Toddle-ease. I guess you just have to decide if it's worth his initial discomfort or not. Does he adjust to things easily or is it a struggle? That's really something only a mama can answer.
Cheers!

Personally, I found the OS great when I had a two-year-old and a baby in cloth, so if you can stick with it, it does simplify life in that you don't have to keep track of sizes or who has which diapers clean, etc.
I've never had a problem with my boys seeming to mind the bulk between the legs (in fact, I've never thought of it as bulk).
As the PP said, it may just be something that he'll need a little time to get used to.

The toddler size Sandy's would be bulkier. They are a roomier fit and a larger diaper. They are for 35-45 lbs. I would stick to the OS if they aren't too small.
