Will she outgrow the large Sandys? (tjhbahr)

I started cding when my dd was 2+ with MEOS.  With my next dd I tried prefolds and small sandys along with the MEOS.  I recently purchased some large Sandy's and decided I prefer them to the OS on my 1 year old, but I'm worried that they won't fit for as long as the MEOS.  Should I keep the MEOS just in case, or should I sell them to buy more large Sandy's?  How many of you have needed to change to the ToddleEase before your children were potty-trained?

Thanks,

Tamara

Most people actually find that the L Sandys fit a little better at higher weights than the OS, so I really wouldn't worry about that.
I was pretty concerned that (superchunky) DS#1 was going to outgrow his OS, but they really did last him until 34+ pounds, when he went day dry.  He needed a few more months to be night dry, and for that we stayed with the Sandys, as we could use them with a booster more comfortably than the OS with a booster at that high of a weight.
It's possible that if you have a really big child, or a late trainer, or maybe just don't get night-dry for a long time, that you might eventually want some TE, but I think that most people do just fine without.

I just sold my OS to go to all Sandy's. My boys are 16 months and 26-27 lbs. The waist on the OS was nearly too small, but on the L Sandy's I still have the waist on the tighted snap. So, I would think you would be fine unless your daughter potty trains late or something.

I've got a bunch of L cotton Sandy's for sale if you decide to get more--they are in excellent condition. I am replacing the unbleached with bamboo due to one of my twins having difficulty with sensory integration (and I can't stand the screaming or him being so uncomfortable anymore).

I started using large Sandy's when my boy was about 9 months and now at 2 years and 25 lbs he has potty trained. The diapers (Sandy's) still had a lot of room left in them when he finished up using them.  We were still on the middle snap around the legs and the waist he had one snap bigger to go on one side but they were loose.  I never used the MEone size but I absolutely loved the Sandy's. With our next child we plan on buying the small sandy's to start cding right from the beginning.  Hope this helps a little.  Good luck.
