Most people actually find that the L Sandys fit a little better at higher weights than the OS, so I really wouldn't worry about that. I was pretty concerned that (superchunky) DS#1 was going to outgrow his OS, but they really did last him until 34+ pounds, when he went day dry. He needed a few more months to be night dry, and for that we stayed with the Sandys, as we could use them with a booster more comfortably than the OS with a booster at that high of a weight. It's possible that if you have a really big child, or a late trainer, or maybe just don't get night-dry for a long time, that you might eventually want some TE, but I think that most people do just fine without. |
