Is there any reason NOT to get organic cotton diapers if I have the extra money? I really like the idea of organic cotton but I want to know if there are any disadvantages.

In theory, the organic cotton diapers, because they are 100% cotton rather than the 85% cotton/15% poly of the standard diapers, might not last quite as long because the poly does add some durability.
That being said, ME diapers last and last, so I really wouldn't let that worry me. If I had the extra money, I'd go for it.
