Current Replies for Covers

Hi, I will soon be a new mom (34 weeks along), and I will be using MEOS diapers that I got from a friend.

I do have to buy covers and I am wondering:
1. how many will I need
2. how often will I need to change the covers
3. do I wash them with the diapers, and
4. which covers are better?

Any advice is appreciated =)

I've been real happy with the motherease Air Flow covers. I have 6 of each size, but I'm lazy about washing - you could probably get away with 4 and be fine. I use 2 per day and each diaper change I switch and let the other air out. Unless poop gets on the cover - then Ihave to wash it. I wash them with either the diaper wash or regular wash, which ever is most convenient. It's probably better for the covers to go with the regular wash, since there are less cycles and less hot water. I always air dry (it takes about 10 min!). Good luck!

Yep, I have four and that is enough for two days easily. On the odd occasion where he gets them all dirty before I run out of dipes, I just give it a quick rinse under hot water and let it dry (like PP said, it takes 10 min. on the line). I love these covers! At first they look like they will be really bulky, but they poof down when you put their clothes on.
