Are Sandy's or MEOS less bulky on a newborn? (Norasmaman)

For those of you that have tried both - are small Sandy's less bulky on an 8 lb baby than the MEOS?  Or does babe still swim in them?  Is there much of a difference?
Thanks!

I think that most people would say that the S Sandys is a bit less bulky.  I really felt that way with my first (very chunky), but honestly couldn't see much of a difference with my second (scrawny), even using both at 6.5 lb, so I think it can really depend on body type.

Hi - My daughter was 7.5 pounds newborn.  She could not wear the one size well for the first month or more, because they were just too bulky.  Really, the best fit was the Sandy's XS, which she wore for the first few months - maybe up to 4 or 5 months.  LOVE THOSE!  We have an bunch of OS and Sandy's in XS, Small and now large and LOVE them all.  My favs are the Sandy's.  I just love the ease of fastening, along with the fit.  I loved the Sandy's on her newborn butt.  I am pregnant again and plan on buying a couple more of the XS Sandy's.  She is now 14 months old and just under 20 pounds.  She easily wears the smalls still with the largest setting for the legs and smaller setting for the waste.  She also easily wears the large on the smallest setting.  Hope this helps!

Personally, hindsight is 20/20, but I would've gotten the XS & S Sandy's if doing it all over again. I went with the MEOS and they were great, but my hunk of chunk fits into Sandy's better, so I had to sell off most of my MEOS(I kept 4 for his diaper bag) anyway. And since I had originally planned on using them birth - PT, selling them and buying new Sandy's cost the same as just using Sandy's the whole time and buying different sizes and selling the old. But it's personal pref, I like the Sandy's better anyway. Whatever you do decide, ME is the way to go though!
Cheers!
