If you google this, you'll find lots of recipes with all sorts of neat ingredients, but the basics are water, oil, and soap. You can use baby oil or olive oil (which may be healthier? but smells funny). I put water in an old squeeze bottle (actually, the bottle my midwife gave me for cleaning my perineum after childbirth ha ha), and the smallest possible squirt of soap and oil. Then I just squeeze it on the cloth wipes as needed (extra baby facecloths, since I rec'd 100 at my baby showers).
If you want to make disposable wipes for travelling, use Bounty sheets cut in half and moisten a bunch all at once. Other paper towels fall apart - trust me! |
