Hi Resourceful Ladies!

I am looking for high quality, organic Mama pads made in and shipped in Canada. I have found a few US sites, but I want Canadian products.

Can anyone PLEASE help?

Lunapads (http://www.lunapads.com/) offers organic cotton pads. They are made in Vancouver and the company offers good customer service (they tend to mess up orders, but will correct them rapidly after). I have just started using them but so far I am rather satisfied, although I cannot compare with any other washable pads as they are the first ones I try.

Thanks for the tip. I have looked at the Luna Pads before but the reviews have not been positive. Most say that they do not like the ric-rac attachment method and that the cost is higher than usual. On a positive the quality is top notch, but they shrink more than would be expected.

Any other Canadian sources?

I've never tried them personally but they're Canadian and have organic bamboo as an option (can't see organic cotton).

On another note I've been using my Lunapads monthly for 6+ years (well, I got a 22 month reprieve when I had the twins) and I love love love them. Granted, mine are pantiliners and I only use them for very light days or as a back-up to my Keeper but they're great. Other than a few stains and some ever so slight pilling of the fabric, they look the same as the day I bought them. I do occasionally use my one real 'pad' with the ric-rac and I don't mind it. Although I too have never tried other brands for a true comparison...

Doing a search didn't yield much else but I did find this company. Not sure if they make pads or not (there is a section for it on their website but it's currently empty) but they're Canadian so I thought I'd mention it just in case...

I have a few of her Velour Bamboo, but I know she makes some Organic ones. You can email her and she is great for helping in your selection. It is kind of first come first serve and she stocks every week I think. She always has so many different kinds.

try (Kidalog Reusable Cloth Menstrual Sanitary Pads) on ebay. The girl that makes them in in BC. I have some and love them. Ask her she might be able to make organic pads not sure. There is also http://www.newmoonpads.com/pads.html
new moon pads. Ask her she might be able to make organic ones as well. I just ordered some night ones from her but havent had a chance to use them. you could always ask and see what they can do
