Well, in my experience the differences are limited. A baby boy tends to pee a little more upfront so sometimes it helps to concentrate any liners there for nighttime, but really urine spreads in cloth so quickly that it's not a huge difference.
Diapering itself is a little different because you have to wipe them differently (to take into account the vagina and not wanting to spread feces bacteria there, or at least limit it as much as possible, sometimes it just goes there on it's own).
Some baby girls do choose to pee the minute you open the diaper (my first dd was like that, the twins much less so). But it doesn't go 'in the air' like with a baby boy, it usually just spreads around them on whatever surface they're on. So it's easier to deal with than a baby boy's 'fountain'! ;-)
