question Bedwetter (carolyn)

Hi.  I was wondering if anybody has any experience with the bedwetter pant.  My son is 4 1/2 and is still wetting his bed.  I don't want to spend money on pull-ups since I've been using cloth diapers his whole life.  But I am finding that the diapers are getting too small and if he wants to take them off, he can't.  If anybody has used the bedwetter could you let me know what you think about it.  Does it absorb really well?  Do their pyjamas get a bit wet if the bedwetter is really wet in the morning?

I've found them to work great, although my older ds with sensory issues didn't like them due to not having stay dry inners, the terry and wetness really bothered him.
I love them though, and they are super waterproof. :O)

I used them with my son and liked them a lot as well. Only issues I had with them were related to bulk... He had quite a big bum and it *really* showed. Fortunetly my son isn't very self-conscious so it didn't bother him at all.

But it did cause some issues with his pyjamas though. They were so bulky that the pj bottoms were very tight and this caused some wicking issues as the fabric would creep inside the pant at night. We solved the problem by getting him a pair of fleece pj bottoms that were a couple sizes too big (just rolled the leg up a little so he wouldn't trip). This helped in two ways. First, they were bigger so they weren't as snug/tight around the bum which helped prevent the fabric from creeping inside the bedwetter pant. And then the fact that it was fleece (a non-absorbant fabric) meant that even if the fabric wouldn't wick any wetness to sheets etc... The bedwetter pant absorbs very well so they weren't actual 'leaks' (those wouldn't have been fixed by the fleece pants), just wicking and that was fixed easily enough.

I wonder if ME could make some from bamboo instead of cotton to help with the bulk... Especially that some older kids are quite sensitive to bedwetting issues and the bulk could be embarassing to some...

Karen.

Given all of the products that are available but not listing online, I'd wonder about calling ME and asking if they make it in bamboo.
