Howdy Ladies!
Okay, we've been dealing with a recurrent yeast issue that my son gets on his chin. He's been a huge slobber king since day 1(seriously!) and I use regular over the counter anti-fungal creme 2x a day when the spots start coming out. It comes and goes, but mostly is there more often than not. I've boiled his binkys, boiled his bottles & nipples, dishwashered his toys, you name it! Could it be me? He still BF and he's 1 now. But I've never gotten a yeast rash on my breasts. Any ideas? Does anyone else have a drool monster that breaks out constantly? It's only on his chin, where he slobbers. If I put aquafor on it(as a skin barrier from the drool) then he gets it really bad and it's bright red. So if it's irritation due to drool, I'd think a protective layer would help it not make it worse. But this recurrent thing is just perplexing me! I want it gone for good, but need some "expert" advice! Please help my son..... |
