I've read about tea tree and lavender oil used a lot by the mommas out there, but how about other scents? I think TTO is used because of antifungal and healing reasons (right?), but what about using other fragrances for wipes, dry bags or washing? I like vanilla for example, and it's supposed to be comforting to an infant. Would this be ok to add to things?? Or orange? Any EO experience out there?

Off hand I don't see why not. I think lavender is mostly a 'for fun' kind of thing in that it's a soothing scent but has no concrete function... Only thing is I would make sure it's a safe essential oil, some can be irritating when used directly on skin.

Karen.
