question Airflow Cover Sizing (4daughters)
Posted: 12:40:52 pm on 1/8/2009 Modified: Never

I just moved my average sized 8 month old up to M/L covers from the M.  I'm not finding that there is such a big size difference.  The rise is still pretty low and it barely covers her diaper at night when its stuffed with a liner and a microfiber towel.  I'm disappointed since I thought they would fit her till toilet training based on the weight recommendations but now I see that I'll have to also invest in larges - probably soon.

Anyone else have the same experience?

Sorry to hear about the ill fit.  I did not bother buying M/L and went right to L.  I was happy and had no problems.  I might be wrong, but I believe many people skip the M/L as babies spend the most time in size L covers as growth slows so much by that age.

Keep your eyes on the Buy Sell here and I am sure you will be able to find some L covers.

Yeah, the weight ranges are just an average really. Each kid is different. You can always sell them on the forum.

I know the weight ranges are just suggestions but she isn't even 20 lbs which is the lower end of the sizing!

I should have also skipped the M/L and just gone to L.  I skipped S and went straight to M for just that reason!  I could definitely sell the M/L second hand but its a bit more complicated since I live in Israel (and I don't live near a post office).  I'll also need to wait to get my L since ME are double the price when purchased from the local Israeli supplier.
